1. Radius (nee Ramon Norwood) is an innovative sample-based artist from Chicago, bringing “univerSoul boom bap 4th dimension sounds” from his MPC digital sampler...Neighborhood Suicide is his first official release, out now from The Secret Life of Sound. For each instrumental track there is also a story or explanation given in the liner notes as to what this part of the city means to Radius and why it is on the album.
2. Navigating effortlessly through a dizzying array of styles, Konrad is an Amerikan song constructionist who puzzles together his unique brand of vocal poetics with a sorted sonic DNA that exhibits strains of indie, electro, folk, IDM and hip-hop.

Since its conception in 2005, the Cleveland duo has released two EPs, receiving wide-ranging and honorable comparisons to Cat Power, PJ Harvey, Tool, Portishead, Pelican, Death From Above 1979, Bjork and Blonde Redhead.
5. Electrocute - "On The Beat"
Electrocute are back with a brand new EP titled "On the Beat" produced with their pal Junkie XL. It's a 6-track package of pop goodies, dance classics and glamorous rock'n'roll defiance. Founding member Nicole Morier has relocated from Berlin to Los Angeles and paired up with sassy Aussie Legs Le Brock to bring you this summer's beach party hits.
6. Tindersticks - "The Turns We Took"
I usually stick with the really new or obscure for the New Music Sampler, but Tindersticks are a personal cult favorite of mine and it's not often I get to hype a new record by these guys.
