RFC: So, what are you doing to gear up for the big Lollapalooza performance?

G. Love: Eating lots of green veggies and raw eggs, running 10 miles a day and practicing my guitar.

What do you like best about playing outdoor festivals?

The fact that you can be in front of thousands of new people and get to hear and be heard by your peers.

What do you like about playing Chicago?

I’m a student of the blues and I have a lot of blues influences that are from Chicago – it’s one of my favorite cities.

How is your competition stacking up on the schedule?

Playing Lollapalooza is like playing a Battle of the Bands in high school except its more of a celebration than a competition. You gotta bring you’re 'A' game…
