RFC: So, what are you doing to gear up for the big Lollapalooza performance?
Brian Karscig: Well, we have been rehearsing and doing some one off shows to get ready, and been tailoring a set that is a collection of old and new songs. We went back to just doing a 4-piece rock gig, and are leaving the string section at home this time. We are really excited! 2005 Lollapalooza was one of our all time favorite shows.
What do you like best about playing outdoor festivals?
I am a huge music fan! I really like watching and meeting bands
that i am a fan of.
What do you like about playing Chicago?
The city is gorgeous, and a lot of great bands have come out of
Chicago....but I am going to have to say its the pizza!
How is your competition stacking up on the schedule?
I never really looked at playing music as a competition, but according to the lineup, it looks like there are a lot of good and popular bands on the bill.....I guess we will just see what happens, but none the less, we are ready to rock, and hope people will leave talking about our set!!!
