Normally performing as one half of the "Brechtian punk duo" the Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer appeared at the Lakeshore Theater last Friday on her own in support of her forthcoming solo LP, Who Killed Amanda Palmer. Along for the ride was the quasi-cabaret style show, albeit turned down a bit, that the dolls are known for and, of course, her vocal rawness. While she would have liked us to believe she was a bit nervous for the performance, her ferocity behind the keys betrayed this sentiment.
