Three years after the release of their sophomore album The Understanding, Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp will be releasing Junior on Astralworks records March 23, 2009.
The album will feature contributions from the likes of Lykke Li, Robyn, Anneli Drecker (who's vocals feature prominently on the track "Sparks" from Melody A.M.) and a return of The Knife's Karin Dreijer Andersson.
In celebration of their 15th birthday Röyksopp has available for download a fun little track aptly titled "Happy Birthday" availabe for download. (I am always happy to acquire new songs to add to birthday mixes.)
