Langhorne Slim is not the only great alt-country/folk hybrid gentleman releasing a new album this fall. Following up 2007's debut, American Hearts, AA Bondy will be releasing When The Devil's Loose on the first of September. The wonderful title track made the blog rounds earlier in the summer and recently, Bondy has put out another taste of what's to come with the new track "I Can See The Pines Dancing." Slightly slicker than the Bondy we first heard on American Hearts, "I Can See The Pines Dancing" is lackadaisical, smooth and lyrically right in step with the first track Bondy released off his forthcoming album.
Personally, it was a bit of adjustment to hear Bondy with a full band arrangement after his sparse debut and while "I Can See The Pines Dancing" didn't strike me as immediately as "When The Devil's Loose," it's begun to grow on me after repeated listenings making the new AA Bondy record just another thing to add to the growing list of exciting autumn CD releases.
AA Bondy will be hitting the road with Elvis Perkins in Dearland this fall, a Chicago appearance is slated for November 21, but venue is listed as "TBA."

Such a good writing, or by I saw for the first time. I'm quite happy, you are a good writer
