Last week, Freelance Whales conducted an amazing performance to a sold out show of die-hards and newly joined fans. The band, consisting of Judah, Kevin, Doris, Jake and Chuck are well on their way to making huge waves in the 2010 edition of the indie music scene. Their debut album Weathervanes, drops on March 16 in time to kick off spring.
Freelance Whales are not the typical indie band. They captivate the audience and usher them to come along and become part of the story that is unfolding in front of them. With sincere and descriptive lyrics(similarities tied to Ben Gibbard), this band mixes the folk twang of banjo melodies with synths and the mysterious harmonium, taking you on a journey through the countryside of your soul.
Yeah..You sounds good. It is looking to be fantastic performance. Do you have any video for Freelance Whales performance. I am very curious about it. I will really appreciate you if you share with me.

I'll be honest, I liked 'em better the first time around ... when they were called Arcade Fire.
I'll give them this though, they certainly do inject the material with a LOT more urgency than the tepid versions that appear on their album.
