Sometimes, things in life just sneak up on you. One night, you're at a dingy venue in Michigan drinking beer straight from the pitcher (No big deal, just keepin' it classy) and the next? Well, shoot, it seems that Jonny Corndawg is at Schubas! I had meant to write about the Corndawg thoroughly to prep all you lovely Chicagoans for his arrival in our fair city but it seems, with the evening upon us, I sort of dropped the ball. So you'll just have to take my advice for it: Jonny Corndawg is amazing.
Corndawg makes raunchy country music that is just as hilarious as it is infectious and he hits Schubas tonight with Futurebirds in tow. It's only ten bones at the door for the 21 plus crowd and let's face it: Ten dollars for what's sure to be an unforgettable night with the best country musician around today? Worth it.
