Contrary to popular belief, the band Brighton, MA is not from the East Coast, they're actually from right here in Chicago and feature former members of Scotland Yard Gospel Choir. (The name is actually a reference to where bandleader Mathew Kerstein was born) They've built up a buzz opening up the likes of Tapes 'n Tapes, Man Man, Tilly & The Wall, The Essex Green, Isobel Campbell and The M's, but next Friday they've got top billing all to their own at Subterranean and we want to put you on the list. The show is a record release party for their self-titled debut EP, which hits store shelves on June 19 via local micro label Loose Tooth Records.
Drop us a line at radiofreechicago(at)gmail.com with "Brighton, MA" in the subject line by end of day Monday (6/4)for your chance to get on the list (+1) for next Friday's show and a pick up a copy of the new EP. One lucky grand prize winner of tix and an EP will be drawn at random, and we've also got lots of extra EPs to send to runners-up (while supplies last). Good luck!
