RFC: So, what are you doing to gear up for the big Lollapalooza performance?
Rob Cantor: We're making a list of who else we want to see. This festival is so packed with talented artists that I'm excited just to be there. In terms of our own performance, we're concocting a few new ideas to make this a special performance...
What do you like best about playing outdoor festivals?
This is our first real festival performance, so I don't really know. I'll predict: the refracted sunlight sneaking through gaps in the tent beaming on my face as a cool breeze rushes past.
What do you like about playing Chicago?
Our Chicago audiences have been among the most energetic. That makes performing much more effortless and fun. I can only imagine that the Lollapalooza magic will amplify that.
How is your competition stacking up on the schedule?
We're playing alongside some great bands. The festival is so enormous, though, that I don't think any stage will be want for a crowd.
