This Saturday, January 17, DJ's Mary Nisi and Carrie Weston of Smashing Time will be reviving their infamous Hideout dance party, to benefit the Chicago Independent Radio Project (CHIRP). Though I never really NEED an excuse to get good 'n' sweaty to New Order and Biggie Smalls, supporting indie radio sounds more than legit.
I'm pretty sure I'll be there unless, you know, my neighbor discovers I'm the rat who ran over his paint cans to snake the parking spot I didn't dig out. In that case, you'll find me face down in a Ukrainian Village gutter somewhere.
not a very nice love dances a lifestyle waive thank

OH Mary and Carrie! The dance party I have been craving for OVER a year! Thank-you thank-you thank-you for keeping the dance floor rocking all night long (and not playing pretentious crap that other Chicago djs have fallen prey to).
XOXO!
