The
showmanship moored itself back from the prolonged transient
instrumentals with Animal's pulsating romp. Along with the audience's
chorus call backs, the most audible response aside from, at times
spontaneous, applause as towards the tapered end of Sans Soleil. While
ephemeral, Miike Snow closed the curtain all too early, but not without
reassuring their audience on the quality over quantity of the finale.
As on the Savage Skulls remix, In Search Of mirrored this sum of Miike
Snow's musical attraction. The electric fuzz injected beats, obviously
influenced by Bloodshy & Avant's (Christian & Pontus) prior
background in producing dance-infused pop, provided the momentum for
Andrew Wyatt to sing as intently, or quietly, as desired over the
lengthened ending.
With piece after piece of the performance fading off stage as reality overcame entertainment, Miike Snow was left with only Christian on the beats and Andrew Wyatt on the keys. Moments later, snapping out of that hypnotic hazy melange of electropop all that was left was a mysterious white mask under Wyatt's piano. The same final elements to the remix, as well as the evening.
